Getting into shape shouldn’t be a punishment. It’s an amazing and empowering lifestyle decision that anyone can make.

I believe in finding the pleasurable side of fitness; and while there may be a sore muscle or two along the way, the benefits of fitness is worth the discomfort. I have developed my programmes by working with a variety of clients with differing needs, levels of fitness and ages. Adapting exercises to meet the individual needs, helping them to achieve their goals.

Whether you want to improve your flexibility, posture, core strength, or want to concentrate on a specific area, Pilates has something for everyone. To find out how I can help you please click below, leaving your details and a short message. I’ll be in touch with you very soon.

We have experienced a difficult year through Lockdown in many different ways. I am excited to say that I am returning to my first face-to-face class on 3rd June 2021 in Beverley and look forward to seeing my loyal clients and a few new faces. I will continue to teach my online classes, as I now have a lovely online Pilates family. Although, it can never be the same to learn or teach remotely, it has been very special for me to be able to see my lovely clients week-in week-out over the past year. I am inspired by how committed everyone has been and the continuing support we have given to each other.

BENEFITS OF PILATES

Pilates offers benefits to all age groups, all levels of fitness and abilities. Pilates aims to improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility. It aims to strengthen the whole body, evenly, concentrating on core strength to perform the exercises. Pilates involves being able to isolate specific joints and muscles to perform the exercises correctly. Concentration on these areas enable you to relax and divert your mind from the stresses of the day to perfect this technique.

Group sessions allows the participant to meet others, which can be a benefit in itself. The 1-2-1 sessions allow beginners and those who lack confidence to build their knowledge of exercises and improve technique in a more personal setting with as much support as is required. Programmes can be built around the needs of individuals and take into consideration any health issues, adapting exercises where necessary.
