Pilates offers benefits to all age groups and all levels of fitness and ability. Pilates aims to improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility. No exercise is one size fits all shapes, sizes or personalities . I’m confident there’s a method to suit you.

GROUP CLASSES

BEVERLEY RIVERVIEW

An established group of mixed abilities, this friendly face-to face Pilates class meets at the Quaker Meeting Rooms . For more information about joining our class please get in touch.

There are a limited number of spaces available to keep classes small and safe, but I would love to chat to you about future classes and availability.

Practice Pilates in a friendly, mixed class. Learn the fundamentals and techniques of Pilates at your own pace. Programmes meet all levels needs.

Individual tuition

Provides you with a personal consultation to discuss your history, regarding your health, previous fitness and lifestyle in a private setting.

I have a small indoor studio, suitable for the 1-2-1 sessions,  as well as an undercover outdoor area for the warmer months. The outdoor setting is suitable for me to teach 2 individuals.

Together we would find ways to build a programme to suit all your needs and look at how we can build Pilates into your daily routines. 1-2-1 Pilates instruction enables me to have hands-on correction (if you’re happy with this) enabling me to improve your technique and making you aware of your posture during exercise. ONLINE tuition

During ‘Lockdown’ I have adapted my group classes to enable clients to participate in Pilates online. I believe this has provided some normality to those who regularly attend my classes and meet up with others even in  a remote setting. I wanted to continue to encourage and motivate my clients during this difficult time, whilst continuing to help them gain the benefits from Pilates.

Currently online classes are running on the days/times below:

Tuesday evening – 5.30-6.30pm

Thursday Evening – 5.30-6.30pm

Friday morning – 9.30-10.30am

You may leave the class, whenever you need to, but it is helpful that you are prompt for the class start time.
NB: Classes have been adapted to accommodate those working from home during Lockdown and may be changed/added to in the future as working circumstances alter.
